Currently, we're on the lookout for a Behavior Services Supervisor to work under the guidance of the BCBA to support the planning and delivery of behavior service components in our Options Behavioral Day Services Program. In this role, you will collaborate with program staff to support effective, person-driven behavior services while gaining supervised clinical experience. Responsibilities include assessment activities, staff training, data analysis, documentation review, and direct support.

As the Behavior Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Behavior Services

  • Supports with planning, documentation, and appropriate assessment activities required for initial and annual functional behavior assessments for all program participants.
  • Contributes to the development of behavior support plans that are reviewed and updated annually (or as needed) through a person-driven planning process.
  • Tracks and verifies behavior service hours sufficient to meet program requirements. 
  • Provides direct support as needed to model effective service delivery and maintain adequate supervision and quality of services. 
Staff Training and Supervision
  • Supports the BCBA with clinical supervision of service delivery by direct support staff, including assessing treatment integrity, data collection fidelity, and staff training within their scope of competence.
  • Supports with training direct support staff on proper implementation of behavior support plans; identifies training needs and collaborates with BCBA to implement training plan. 
  • Supports with development and maintenance of training materials for required 40-hour behavior-focused staff training; contributes to training delivery within their scope of competence; maintains training records in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.
  • Conducts regular quality check observations and assessments as directed by the BCBA; collects adequate data (ABC, narrative recording, treatment integrity, etc.) to report to BCBA and supports with follow-up actions, as needed.
Data Analysis and Documentation
  • Supports with creation and maintenance of materials needed for service delivery, including but not limited to: data collection tools, communication tools, visual schedules, etc. 
  • Maintains data collection system; conducts weekly data collection audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Contributes to semi-annual (or as needed) progress reports including graphing, analyzing data, and supporting the BCBA with making data-driven clinical decisions.
  • Supports with maintaining complete, accurate, and up-to-date records of behavior plans and services. 
 

Schedule:

  • Full-time
  • Monday to Friday (8:00 - 4:00 p.m.)

Compensation:

  • Starting at $28.00 - $31.00/hourly (dependent upon prior experience and qualifications).

Qualifications:

  • Meets the eligibility requirements to start or continue supervised field experience toward certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), as outlined in the BCBA Handbook, including a completed or in-progress Master’s degree that qualifies for the applicable certification pathway (required).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience providing behavior analytic services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in an adult day program (preferred) 
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (required, or must obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (required, or must obtain within 30 days of hire) 
  • Bilingual Spanish (preferred).
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proof of Criminal Background Clearance.
  • Proof of a passing physical exam and TB clearance.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

  • Tech-comfortable, with confidence using Microsoft Office Suite and electronic verification systems.

  • Ability to stay calm and solution-focused in high-pressure situations.
  • Sufficient foundation of behavior analytic skills and knowledge to begin supervised field experience.
  • Demonstrates strong professional learning skills, including receptivity to feedback, awareness of areas for further development, and the ability to integrate supervision into ongoing professional and clinical development.
